Hello Joerund Moseid,
It is still a manual process, but you can use the Grouping feature
within the Excel Pivot table to apply your own groups and have the
product subtotal.
Add the Group field to the pivot table and then sort the resources by
group. Select the names of the resource(s) for your first group, group
those resources. Repeat as needed. The grouping feature does do
automatic totals so once you have applied the groups through the Pivot
table, collapse up each group and graph to your heart's content.
I don't believe there is an option for tweaking the Visual Report other
than through Excel.
