Okay, actually that's a good thing. You can contact Microsoft for a
replacement copy of your Office - assuming you have the product key
somewhere handy, or the receipt. Try downloading Belarc Advisor to see if it
can still read your key. Then visit
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;302822

It'll cost you about $30 US.

Okay, actually that's a good thing. You can contact Microsoft for a
replacement copy of your Office - assuming you have the product key
somewhere handy, or the receipt. Try downloading Belarc Advisor to see if
it
can still read your key. Then visit
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;302822

It'll cost you about $30 US.

i asked for help before and still have a world of problems, i had
office
xp
installed from 2002, i recently misplaced my disks so i was able to
purchase
a copy of office pro 2003 from a garage sale, when i went to install
it
removed my version of office xp and installed only some files of
2003pro
its
a very tenuous install as when i connect to the program it some
times
cant
find itself and then requires a reinstall with the same error
messages.
1904.
the fix on the support page tells me to look for files on the office
xp
cd
to
help solve the problem. (Cant be done because there missing)i have
tried
uninstalling office , removing files from the registry, downloading
files
from the web, all to no avail. boy do i need help.... I continually
get
errors just opening any file, or program telling me its not a valid
image

I running windows xp ver 2002 with sp2 installed

What *I* would do is:
Uninstall 2002.
Uninstall 2003.
Reboot.
Install 2002.
Install 2003.

And I'd do it in that order.
