Office 2003 SP1 Update gets HotFix error

Running XP Pro and Office 2003

Did a System Restore because of am Adobe Acrobat issue before trying SP1 update

Subsequently try to install the Office 2003 SP1 and get the following HotFix error.
Also, Auto update check does not compltet

Err1 : NormalPatch.cpp Err2 : 139

Any others experienced this error?

Windows System Restore corrupts the Windows Installer registry data for
installed products. This is fixed in Windows Installer 3.0 which will be
installed with Windows XP SP2 when it releases.

To repair the damage, you will need to use the Windows Installer Cleanup
Utility to remove the Windows Installer information for your Office
installation. This does not uninstall Office. You will then need to
install Office again.
