Did you get the 32bit or 64bit build? Paul Thurrot gave the 64bit build
a rather bad review, but the 32 one a pretty good one.
I was put off by Vista B2 when it decided that my top-notch AGP graphics
card was only worth a 1 in its hardware rating (not something I want to
read for a 2 months old card that cost in the hundreds).

It is hard to say - this is the first build I have wanted to play with for
more than a couple of days. Turned off UAC and the experience is a lot
better. You will see this week.

After furious head scratching, Patrick Schmid asked:
| Good to know!
| Is RC1 as good as I hear it is?

|| Office 2007 is running just fine here on Vista RC-1. Installed
|| Friday and have been using it ever since. Clean install of course.

||
||| I think Vista RC1 will be released to the public on Monday (at least
||| that's what Paul Thurrot claimed). Office 2007 B2 is probably not
||| going to run on RC1, but it should at least install. To test Office
||| with Vista, you'll have to wait for B2TR. According to speculation
||| in news reports, B2TR will be made available soon and to the
||| public. In addition, it will be a patch for B2, which means you'll
||| have to install B2 first.

|||| I had the same problem. In another thread in this forum, a user
|||| suggested setting install as supervisor under the compatibility tab
|||| of properties for the install module. That worked for me. Hope
|||| this helped.
