Now you're talking about a Microsoft registry cleaner, and you can trust
programs from Microsoft, wink wink, nudge nudge.

Hi Luap,

You may need to restart the PC and reinstall Office 2007, but you shouldn't
lose any data.
However, not being able to open Office 2003 files in Office 2007 (through
Office Button=>Open) is a different issue than getting the SKU112.cab
message (which basically indicates that the Office 2003 install is
'broken)'.

===========
Will uninstalling 2003, if I find it, in add & remove programs, will that
have a effect on my office 2007, My problem is not being able to open 2003
files with my 2007 office >>

yes, microsoft spends millions
on ensuring that its software is
as reliable as it can be;

considering the vast diversity
of hardware and software
combinations of computers
from all over the world.

it also spends millions ensuring
that its software is always
up to date and secure.

furthermore, microsoft invented
the registry and invented the
first registry cleaner as well.

therefore, it only stands to
reason, that if microsoft
recommends using a registry
cleaner once a month for better
performance,

then there should be no
argument or insult against
abiding by the recommendations
of the manufacturer of windows.
