No problem; if you can't uninstall, try the installer cleanup utility
anyhow. It will toast the registry entries related to Office, but you won't
likely be in any worse shape than you are now, even if it doesn't work.
Forgot to ask--have you tried just a basic detect and repair
(re-installation) for the entire suite? You said you had tried to provide
the CD when prompted a file at a time, but perhaps a re-install would work.
