Office Reminders Not Displaying

Ummm...why would I not add my issue to an existing thread when I am having the identical issue that is being discussed? Isn't that the point of having threads? I am hoping if more people like me post about this exact issue, it will get the attention of MS as it sounds like an error for which they need to provide a fix. (It seems though this thread has been "hijacked" to discuss syncing with iCal...this not the thread for that.)

Anyway, as far as trouble shooting goes, I have tried rebuilding the database and removing preference files - no luck. I have not tried a new user yet, perhaps over the weekend. It sounds like these

In this newsgroup, the purpose of threads is to link all those messages
helping a single user on a specific problem. Because users have so many
different configurations of Office and OS X, most of us prefer that a user
start a new thread, even if his or her problem sounds similar or even
identical to someone else's.
