Aahhh! Okay, I thought I understood, and mine seems to be working . . .
FINALLY. But:
Leave all notebooks open? What does that mean? When I open ON, I have a
screen in front of me open on a tab, the last place I was working, and along
the left hand side it lists my "notebooks" with an up or down arrow. If I
tap an up arrow, it collapses the list of tabs in that notebook. If I tap a
down arrow, it expands the list of tabs in that notebook. Are you saying
that expand = open, and collapse = closed?
At the bottom of the list something that says All Notebooks, which if I
press it lists all my notebooks, with up or down arrows, over the page I was
just looking at. Does down arrow = closed, and up arrow = open on this part?
In other words, if I'm running ON, how do I distinguish between an open
notebook and a closed one? If I've got a page up, isn't that the only open
notebook on the only open page on the only open tab?
Sorry to be dense Patrick, but you seem to know what's going on. You have a
friend on the ON team, and he should go wring somebody's neck, if you could
pass that along.
So once more into the woods, Patrick. And thanks for all your knowledge and
assistance.
