OneNote is *NOT* a .....

C

Chris H.

OneNote is correctly part of the Office Family, even though it may not
appear in a "suite." Some of the programs are not included in each suite,
such as FrontPage, Publisher, etc.

It is very appropriate for Microsoft to determine when they are going to
release their software and manage their software teams as they see fit. If
you don't like it, let your wallet speak for you by not purchasing the
programs.

OneNote is not an office product.
It's not part of the Office Suite.
"OneNote 12" for a name is a joke.

Releasing OneNote on the same long release schedule as the mature
Office Suite is inappropriate.
Microsoft doesnt care about OneNote users or they would have provided
more resources to the development team.

Maybe not.

EMRhelp.org is not even a real website.
EMRhelp.org as a User ID is a joke considering how un-helpful your
responses usually are.
Most users couldn't care less about your opinions even though you're
quick to try to speak for the "vast majority" of us.

It is part of the suite, even though it is not part of a bundled SKU.
FrontPage, Project, etc. fall under the same designation.

The version number is 11.xxxx.

OneNote is not an office product.

Yes, it is.
It's not part of the Office Suite.

It is part of the Office family. Just like Visio, Publisher, InfoPath
and any of a number of other products that are part of the Office
family.
"OneNote 12" for a name is a joke.

Always glad to entertain you.
Releasing OneNote on the same long release schedule as the mature

I've really tried to patiently explain this to you but apparently either
you can't or won't understand. Either way I'm afraid I'm really
somewhat too busy to continue trying to help you on this point when I
really suspect that you have some ulterior agenda in your persistent
criticisms of the product.

Thanks for your feedback.

OneNote isn't really a layout program as well.

==========================================
Wish: OneNote should have robust tables

Answer: "Proper" tables is a feature that has been requested for a long
time.
I very much hope that will be in OneNote 12.

OneNote isn't really a layout program. it's more an ideas/information
capture tool which lets you re-sort/rearrange it logically. I guess
Microsoft sees Word as the tool to lay out the relevant parts.
