Outlook 2007 1,000 limit on contacts

I am new to using Outlook 2007 and have encountered the 1,000 names
limit. This seems like an unreasonable limitation, since the contacts
are all on my computer. Is there any way to enlarge the capacity
beyond 1,000?

There isn't a 1000 contact limit in Outlook. A contact folder can hold many
more times that. I think the limit is 65535 contacts.

You are using the outlook connector and syncing it to hotmail/live? The
limitation is with the hotmail/live server, not with outlook.
