WAit until tomorrow AM when the Beta 2 Technical Refresh will be released. It may fix your issue as it is a patch and not a new installation.

I ran into the same issue. Running Office 2007 with Exchange.
Ran the repair under add remove programs, Office 2007
did not work
Ran the diagnostic tool under the Microsoft Office - Microsoft Office
Tools.
Read that there was a conflict.
Looked at the restore point it showed installation activity around the
time the users son was playing on his laptop. For some reason he had
Office 2003 as well. Removed outlook 2003 no affect.
Restored back to the restore point and all is back to normal.
Perhaps a reinstall could have done the trick if possible.
