Outlook stopped receiving mail...

I guess I would go back to the error log and compare a successful sync
(on the same server but a different mail account or on a different
server) with an unsuccessful sync to see what's different. You showed
us a piece of the log before, not enough to see anything that jumped
out. If your copy of Outlook works with other servers, it might help
narrow things down. You may have tried some of this already. Good luck
with it.- Hide quoted text -

Bit the bullet & paid ATT their $50 for support.
They worked for it, as between 3 guys, they spent about 7 or 8 hours
on it.
The answer?
'There was an issue with our server that we were able to correct'.
Really?
And I had to pay for that?

I assume a refund is on the way...?

I'm running XP Pro, Outlook 2003 & have SBC Yahoo Business DSL as my
ISP.
I'm using outlook with my sbcglobal.net email & on Thursday, I stopped
receiving emails to Outlook.
They still come to iPhone & everything is current when going to the
webmail page.
I can test the account settings in Outlook & everything works just
fine - test email goes everywhere its supposed to, except for Outlook!
I have created a new profile, new email account, pst file, using
different combinations of each, all with the same result.
Error messages I am getting are;
'Receiving' reported an error (0x800CCC90) : Your incoming (POP3)
email server has reported an internal error. If you continue to
receive this message, contact your server administrator or ISP. The
server responded ; ERR inactivity time out.
I've also received the message that the connection to the server was
interrupted, with the error code (0x800CCC0F).
Server time out is set to 10 minutes.
I have also gone to webmail & taken every message from the time this
started to present time & moved them to a separate folder, thinking an
email message may have been causing it.
I have also disable NAV, thinking it may be part of the problem, but
no luck.
ATT's tech support is pretty useless, as 'they don't support' Outlook!
One last thing, another user in office is having no problems, the only
difference is that she's using Outlook Express.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I was experiencing CRC errors in Outlook when I was trying to send or at the time of receiving emails.

CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) errors are indicating errors with a specific file and in lot of cases with your hard disk. It doesn't indicate a problemwith Outlook itself but a problem with the place on the hard disk where your pst-file is located. When this occurs after you have just copied the pst-file (on disk, from network, from CD, by download) you should first verifythat the original source still works and try to copy it again. If this hashappened "all of a sudden" like in that it still worked yesterday, the issue can be either software based or hardware based.

If it is software based you can fix it by opening Start-> Run;
chkdsk c: /f (replace c: with the drive letter on which your pst-file is located)

When it tells you that it currently cannot check the disk and asks you if want to perform a diskcheck at next reboot choose Yes (Y) and reboot your computer.
When you are done, run scanpst.exe against your pst-file to check if this fixed it.

FWIW, I finally got it fixed & am posting here, in the event that it
may help someone else down the road.
The user's account was set to never delete messages from the server,
so what I did was to first archive old mail by year in Outlook, just
keeping the last year's worth in current pst file.
I then went & made folders, by year, on the webmail page & moved mail
into them, as needed.
Once all that was done, email began working again...
