Problem installing Office 2000 on Terminal Server

Hi Steve,

To create an Office Admin point you need a volume
license (enterprise) software key. Once the
Admin point is created you apply the MST to that
location. Did you check the downloads in the
ORK 2000 for the enhanced (fixed) setup program?
http://microsoft.com/office/ork/2000

=======
I have tried several times to install from an Administrative install of the
Office software(setup /a) and from CD direct. The ORK was the latest
download as of 9/8/2005. The error message has always been the same. >>

Just to close this out. Ended up paying for MS support on this. The cause
of the problem was an incomplete Office uninstall prior to installing the
Terminal Server service, that prevented the installation from working
despite the commands and the formation of the MST file was correct. MS
supplied a super duper MS product removal tool that removed remnants of
previous product installations. After that was run, Office installed
correctly.
