Problems researching in Office (MS Word)

Nice to see it was the original suggestion. The Windows firewall, does
not monitor "outbound", only inbound. For people who are not inclined to
"install" malware, the Windows firewall is adequate. Now that you
know the cause, and want to use another firewall, you might look to see
how/what "Trend" is blocking and give it permission to pass. Or you may
try "Zone Alarm"(free version) and see how that works.

You're welcome. Also you may want to start a new thread relating to the
"hyperlink" issue, should you want to solve that. You will likely get
more responses, as it was buried pretty deep in this thread.
