Product activation from behind a proxy server needed

Since my original post I have been able to activate with no problem. I think
the MVP Response that the activation servers were swamped and to try again
later was the correct advice.

I too am trying to activate from behind a proxy server. Mine is
username/password proteceted access. Running IE, or anything else that tries
to get to the Internet, results in a login screen. But not the activation
process.

I get the error message "A communication error has occurred. Your request
cannot be processes at this time. Please try again in a few minutes."

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
