Thank you, I will try that.

And to add to the comments, you might choose jpg instead of gif for your
images. They will be better quality. Gif images have limited colors. Also,
when you optimize the images use 96 dpi, as that is the Publisher default.

Did you intend to have the number 5 at the bottom of the page?

Looks like you did it. The site is loading faster now.
One piece friendly of advise. If you do not have a backup system in place,
I recommend that you create a folder on your web site named "Pub Files" or
something to your liking and ftp your publisher file there. I would hate to
see you loose all that you did. The server files get backed up often.

Hi Spike,
Yes, I know. Those are the pics that I still need to adjust the size. I
just got distracted and worked on the necklace page. Next I will work on the
windchime page.
Thanks

Yes, I think I am getting closer. I now have a reminder in outlook for me to
back up all of my documents. I have been slacking on that, but I like the
idea to create a folder on the server. I DID IT! I made a new folder on the
server name "Pub Files" and moved the "index.files" and "index.htm" into that
file. Then if something happens I can move those files out of the "Pub File"
folder. Look how much you have taught me. Thanks once again.

I got all of the pictures, except one on the necklace page adjusted. I am
tired..... I think it is all good for now. I do have one other
question....... When you look at my website is the page centered? When I
open up the page it is to the left. If you see the same, is there a way to
center it?

The fix to center pages using publisher 2000 and 2002
Publish to your hard drive
Edit the htm file(s) with notepad, WordPad or any other text editor and
replace <head> with

<head><center>

The fix to center pages using publisher 2003 and 2007
Publish to your hard drive
Edit the htm file(s) and replace </head> with

</head><table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="2"
width="760"align="center"><tr><td>

" All above on one line "

Be sure that you edit the </head> line and NOT the <head> line

If you are using a page width different than 760 pixels change that number
in the above line

If you have multiple pages you might want to look at
http://www.emurasoft.com/replall/ a simple replace lines in multiple htm
files

Then ftp the files to your ISP

New Subject:

I might have mislead you on the backup
You should backup the "xxxx.pub" file not the index files
With the xxxx.pub file you can always make more index files
Compressing the images using 2007 makes the pub file a lot smaller also less
time to send to the server.

I took care ofr the backup to the Server. I saved the Publisher document.
Thanks for clarifing that.
I also made the changes to the htm file to align it online. I assume I need
to do this each time, prior to uploading to the server. I had to change the
pixiels because my pages are alittle wider. All aligned except the home
page. The preview shows it aligned, but once it is uploaded, it is not. Any
suggestions?

Spike,
I hope you don't mind my questions..... I would like to ask if there is a
way to make a shopping cart on my website? So if someone wants to purchase
an item, they can click on the item and it will put it in a shopping cart. If
this is to advanced for me to do, I understand.

Hi Again,
I figured out the centering on the home page. I had to go into "index.htm"
and I know that I will have to change the htm files each time before I upload
to the server.

You are welcome. Thanks for posting back each time you make a change. It
benefits everybody to follow the progress. Glad to see that you made it
work.

Paypal would be the easiest and cheapest, especially since you don't really
have lots of different items.

A follow-up for this thread
Worked with the OP offline on an issue and will share the results here:

A problem arose with the contact me page using a form.
The cgi form mailer appears to be corrupted
Switched to the php form mailer
After a few times reading the code, found the last issue
The "R" in "Redirect" needed to be an "r" as in "redirect"
Linux is funny that way (case sensitive)
I must have read it 10 times over until I saw the "R"

Maybe this will help someone else along the way
