saving emails into local folders errro

Outlook 2007 when I save a email as HTML or an attachment to a folder on the desktop/share drive i'm unable to move/rename/delete that folder. if i close outlook 2007 i'm able to do what ever i want to the folder. sometimes i'm able to rename a folder after saving to it from outlook. seems like when outlook saves the file it has a hold on the folder. I'm running windows vista sp2 office 2007 sp2

any help would be great

Correct, outlook keeps a lock on the folder until you close it OR change the
folder - go through the process of saving and browsing to a new folder then
close the dialog after selecting a new folder.
