Hi Bill,

Unfortunately the CD Edition and the
installed edition (Add/Remove Programs)
have to match. The update download works
with all of the editions but the CDs aren't
interchangeable.

If you don't have the matching CD you can uninstall
the one listed, restart the PC then install from the
edition you do have, but, as with any revision to the
PC environment set a restore point and backup your
files first.

My msiexec version is 2.0.2600.2 and I have Office 2K
Premium, but it's asking for Professional. The update
website says that the update works with Office 2000 without
mention of level.
