Unable to reinstall Microsoft office after installing a new hard d

If you installed o/s onto a new hd you also need to install the drivers

came with your sys, or download same from dell

I don't understand why you would need a modem to *install* Office but I
guess it could happen. Since you obviously have an internet connection on
another computer, did you try going to the modem manufacturer's website to
download them?

got
a new one. After loading a new hard drive and re-installing the operating
system, I am unable to reload Word or Excel without an online connection.
Do
you have to go online to reload software from CDs?

New hard drive for some reason does not recognize phone connection
(not
sure
if it doesn't recognize modem). Trying to resolve that separately.
