Word 2003 Does Not Allow Saving A Document

I'm having the same problem with Word '03 as well. When I try to save a
document nothing happens. No error, no lock up, nothing. The (winword / a)
from run suggestion did nothing. Any help would be great.

Please test again using the /a switch. Note there is only a single space
between exe and the /. There is no space between the / and the a.

winword /a

Can you save with Word in Safe Mode?
