Word vX templates ?

I would guess you've never done it (and won't need to in most situations,
I'd bet). To attach a template to a document, you go to Tools>Templates &
Add-Ins.

And having done that, nominating the template you want to attach and then
checking the "Automatically update document styles" box to bring the
characteristics of the template into the document.

I mention this because I *think* John may not have had that in mind when he
said:

"If you want to use anything from an attached template AFTER
document creation, you have to explicitly bring it in, either by copying or
by using the Organiser."

But I may be wrong at guessing what's in John's, er, fertile mind! ;-)
