MS Office "Help"

C

Copelands

Firstly, may I say how grateful I am for this help from everyone- my
knowledge about the operating system etc is sketch to say the least- so you
can see your assistance is invaluable.

Have now completely reinstalled MS Office XP Small Business and nothing has
changed.

Am I right in assuming the problem must be in my Windows XP professional
operating system??

I have a re-installation disc which I am nervous about using as I dont know
what effects will be caused by taking this action i.e. changes to my system

Suddenlt I cannot access "Help" in any of my Office applications.

Can anyone help??

When I click "help", the help dialogue box opens but without the expevted
help topics. Instead I get the following in the text box:

Hi Peter,

It's possible that you are using a firewall product that isn't allowing access to the online help files. You might want to check to
see what programs are allowed through or temporarily disable the firewall protection to see if that helps.
