Unable to access registry key during 07 beta installation

Thanks for all the help, but I managed to solve this myself by taking the
error message completely literally. I went into the registry, found the key
in question, went to its permissions dialogue and gave full access to every
user group I could think of (SYSTEM, Administrator, Creator Owner, Owner). I
ran the installer again and it got past .tif, then repeated the process for
..tiff, and then it installed smoothly...

whoops, I realized I had already posted most of this solution. Sorry about
that, but again, thanks for the help... fortunately there were only two
troublesome keys, and why they had such limited permissions to begin with is
beyond me (I'm pointing fingers at Adobe, but who knows?)
