Office 2007 activation

R

RAAckerman

My laptop is in the shop, so I installed MS Office 2007 on the desktop
(actually, it is just a backup computer). All went well- even Outlook
Business (which has not worked on my laptop since TR2). However, I cannot
activate. There is no firewall on this computer (I even turned the MS one
off). I can connect to MS, MSDN, MSN, CNN, etc. so it is not an internet
problem (as well as receive my mail).
The error for the past 25 hours has been that activation is off line. I am
mighty close to my 25 uses.... Does it make sense to be off line this long?
And, what do I do, if it is not offline?
Thanks.

Count me in too. Haven't been able to activate it for over 24 hours,
and have had to restart a lot in the last day. Running out of times to
skip activation.

Please include me in the "lucky" club...

It's a pity from microsoft...

Microsoft should take more care of their beta tester because also if the
beta in this stage is more similar to a great SPOT for the Office suite, the
beta tester are the public for this great spot...

But probably they don't put much care... At last before or less all of us in
some way will buy the suite...
