Office 2007 activation

Xerses

After reading what Milly answered the another post (I replied to her) I went
to teh MS Web site and the Office Beta 2 site is still up, you can still
download the software and the bottom of the Office Beta 2 page still shows
the following:

Expiration Date
All 2007 Microsoft Office system Beta 2 software has an expiration date of
February 1, 2007. After expiration, 2007 Microsoft Office system Beta 2 will
continue to work in a reduced functionality mode that limits your options and
operations.

This would mean that the activation should still work and there is no good
reason that we cannot activate Office B2TR today. I am guessing MS is having
major issues with the activation server. Seeing as the official launch is
not far away it is not a very good sign of things to come if a bad server is
the actual case.

Ok I didn't wanna appear what I'm not...
What you say is correct in fact I know that the release of the beta for
public odience doesn't mean we are exactly beta tester but is a kind of great
spot as I think you've read in my prev. post ...
Remain that is not serious let everybody download the beta and let's a lot
of people continuously have this problem...

I'm enthusiastic about new microsoft product (office2007 and Vista), a great
job, but I don't like have this kind of tedius problem, that's all...

About your suggestion it doesn't work... or better... I try the beta on
Vista and I cannot find the file indicated in the system...

Anyway thanks for the help.

Thank you!

hmm... did a search for this file on my computer.
does not exist.
now what?

I wish I knew. I tried the beta some weeks ago and had no problem
activating it but couldn't continue to use it as I need an older
version for compatibility at work so it's long gone....

Keep reading this group, it's possible someone will come up with a
successful means of activation.
