My first suggestion is "Save every time you stop to think" so that you do
not lose so MUCH.
You will never get a computer application that NEVER crashes, so get in the
habit of "Command + s" every time you stop to think.
Edit carefully: Cut and Paste rather than Drag and Drop. There are bugs in
all of the applications that cause failures unless you are careful not to
have objects landing over the top of each other.
Eventually, you will learn by trial and error what tips it over. Basically
anything to do with pictures is suspect...
But mainly: Wait for Service Pack 2. Service Pack 1 is about two months
away (that's a guess...). It should fix the worst of the bugs. Service
Pack 2, I guess, will appear about July/August.
Hope this helps

While operating in Excel(Microsoft Office 2008 Home/Student) if I try and
change the window size it will freeze the entire laptop and I have to remove
the battery to get it restarted. Also on occasion Excel will crash and I will
get a message to the effect that Excel has encountered a problem and it needs
to be restarted losing all my current work.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
